Privacy Policy

Last updated:

1. Introduction

Flyt Solutions is a product design and engineering studio operating from Manila, Philippines. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

We handle personal information in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission. This policy covers this website only; it does not cover data we process on a client’s behalf under a separate project agreement, where the client is the personal information controller and their own policy applies.

2. Information We Collect

You can read every page of this site without telling us anything about yourself. We only collect personal information when you choose to send it.

Information you give us through the contact form. When you submit a project inquiry we collect your name, email address, the service you are interested in and a description of your project. If you choose to fill them in, we also collect your company name, your budget range and your intended timeline. These fields are what the form asks for and nothing more.

Anything else you send us directly. If you email us, whatever you put in that email — including any attachments — sits in our inbox until we delete it.

Technical information. When the contact form is submitted we read the request’s IP address to apply a rate limit, so one sender cannot flood the form. That address is held in memory to count recent submissions and is not written to our database or attached to your message. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send any through the form.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use what you send us to:

  • reply to your inquiry and answer your questions;
  • understand your project well enough to scope it and prepare a proposal;
  • keep a record of the conversation if we go on to work together;
  • protect the site from spam, abuse and automated submissions.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing email off the back of an inquiry — if we ever start a newsletter, it will be something you opt into deliberately and can leave at any time.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not fingerprint visitors. The only cookies it sets are the ones our content management system uses to let our own editors preview unpublished content; they are not set for ordinary visitors.

We are in the process of introducing privacy-conscious analytics so we can see which pages people find useful: Vercel Web Analytics, which reports aggregate page views without cookies and without building a profile of individual visitors, and PostHog, which we use to understand how the site is navigated in aggregate. Neither is used to serve advertising. When they are live, this section and the “Last updated” date above will say so.

Most browsers let you block or clear cookies in their settings. Doing so will not stop you from using this site.

5. Who We Share It With

We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers that run this site on our behalf, and only to the extent they need it to do that:

  • Vercel — hosts the website and processes the requests you make to it.
  • Neon — provides the database where contact form submissions are stored.
  • Sanity — stores the content we publish on the site. It holds no visitor data.

These providers operate infrastructure outside the Philippines, so your information may be stored or processed abroad. We choose providers that commit to appropriate security and data protection standards, and we share the minimum needed for them to provide their service.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. How Long We Keep It

We keep contact form submissions for as long as it takes to handle your inquiry, and afterwards for our business records — typically up to two years for inquiries that do not lead to a project, and for the life of the engagement plus any period the law requires for those that do. You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how your personal information is processed;
  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate or outdated information corrected;
  • have your information erased or blocked where it is no longer necessary, or where processing was unlawful;
  • object to processing, including withdrawing consent;
  • obtain a copy of your information in a portable electronic format;
  • be indemnified for damages arising from inaccurate, incomplete or unlawfully obtained information.

To exercise any of these, email us at hello@flyt.solutions. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated on the server before anything is stored, and access to the database is limited to the people and systems that need it. These are reasonable and appropriate measures, but no method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, let us know and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We will update this policy when our practices or the tools we use change. The current version always lives on this page, and the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Where a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you directly.

11. Contact

For any question about this policy or about the information we hold, email us at hello@flyt.solutions. Our related Terms and Conditions cover your use of the site itself.
